Pride in Education is a trailblazing global conference dedicated to advancing LGBTIQA+ inclusion in education. Our founder, Laïla El-Métoui, established this initiative in June 2020 in response to the British Government's cuts in anti-HBT (homophobic, biphobic, and transphobic) bullying. Our mission is to equip education practitioners with the practical tools they need to create inclusive and celebratory spaces for all individuals working in education, from primary/elementary school to university.

Our conference has rapidly established itself as the go-to source for practical tips and resources for anyone seeking to foster diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, and expressions in education. We have grown from a small UK-based virtual conference to an international platform, attracting delegates and contributors from North and South America, Africa, Australasia, and Europe.

With the support of over 80 community partners, we have inspired thousands of delegates to make individual and organizational pledges to promote LGBTIQA+ inclusion in education.
